- Abstract all new cancer diagnoses and/or other reportable neoplasms within the cancer registry database according to established criteria from Michigan Cancer Surveillance Program (MCSP) and the American College of Surgeons - Commission on Cancer (ACoS-CoC).
- You will utilize critical thinking skills and have a high attention to detail while performing case findings and patient follow-up activities using an established workflow
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other clinical staff to obtain complete clinical information

You will be known as a data information specialist that will capture complete history, diagnosis, treatment, and health status for every cancer patient treated at the Rogel Cancer Center.
As a member of the Cancer Registry Team, you will be a primary source to support research, understanding cancer incidence, mortality and treatment outcomes.

Background Screening
