Description of Responsibilities:

Provides supervision, assessment, and education to children who are at risk for an out of home placement or who are at risk for a higher level of care.
Use good judgment and excellent communication skills to ward off impending crises and to deescalate children in a heightened state.
Communicate effectively with collateral contacts, in case meetings, at court proceedings, and in supervision.
Model appropriate communication skills in all interactions with children while also teaching appropriate boundaries, maintaining physical safety, ensuring emotional stability, and expression of oneself in a positive way.

Required Qualifications:
Associates degree in a human service field.
6 months of experience with children and/or families preferred.
