Field Operator Position Description:

As an oil and gas field operator, you will be responsible for routine monitoring and operation of wells and associated production equipment.

The field operator receives direction from the field supervisor. Specific duties will vary based on field production requirements.


Daily Include:

• Routine monitoring and surveillance of wells and equipment, including pressure gauge readings, temperatures, tank levels, visual equipment inspections.
• Routine and / or first attempt maintenance of equipment.
• Accompanying and / or working with contractors where applicable.

Minimum Requirements and Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Basic Microsoft Office 365 skills.
• Physical ability to lift 50 to 75 lbs safely.
• Ability to communicate and write clearly.
• Understanding of hand tools and the ability to use them.
• Comfortable working all day outdoors in a dynamic climate.
• Comprehension of system and process.
• Reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the general Chatsworth area.
• Drug and physical testing required after employment offer.

Pluses:

• Safety training such as LOTO, electrical hazards, PPE, lift safety, or hazardous materials handling.

• Commensurate with experience and expertise.
