Salary:

$29.38 hourly


Schedule:

The contractor is responsible for conducting business, between the hours of


Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings.

  • Basic knowledge of Navy Pay and Personnel matters as it pertains to pay accuracy and timeliness. Familiarization with MMPA, NSIPS, FLTMPS, and CPPA Dashboard and how to navigate each system. Understanding of the Navy gains a losses policies and requirements of forwarding documents to TSC's.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide support for development, review, updating, and creation of products that are designed to inform leadership within and outside CNSL on pay accuracy and timeliness trends and statistics for the entirety of the SURFLANT claimancy.
  • Development of weekly products that inform CNSL N1 of current pay accuracy and timeliness, CPPA qualification levels, command access to and use of CPPA Dashboard, command access to and use of the Enhanced Unit Commander's Financial Report, and all other supporting software and databases which become available to SURFLANT's commands.
  • Interface with ISIC and command representatives as well as other CNSL staff members to provide updates on current trends and recommended remediation.
  • Interface with supporting TSC/RSCs, NPPSC, and MNCC to stay abreast of Navywide initiatives and challenges in provide pay services to Sailors. Communicate findings to N1 with a communication plan to ISICs to ensure the force is positioned to respond or implement as necessary.
  • Remain informed of any messages, OPORDs, PBIBs, or instruction changes and communicate to the force any updates provided from DFAS, CNP, MyNavyHR, NPC, MNCC, NPPSC, or USFF N
  • Provide training to N1 metrics personnel, coordinate with N1 metrics personnel to provide quality organizational work products, and facilitate correction of associated pay data/metrics projects to ensure data integrity.
  • Provide monthly expired Gains, Losses, and EAOS reports to ISICs for review and response on each assigned Sailor. Upon receipt and consolidation, provide to N1 for review with comments on areas or commands of concern.
  • Provide monthly pay transaction timeliness and accuracy reports to ISICs for review and response on each assigned Sailor. Upon receipt and consolidation, provide to N1 for review with comments on areas or commands of concern.
  • Prepare monthly or on demand briefs on published changes or pending changes for N1 as the direct liaison with DFAS, CNP, MyNavyHR, NPC, MNCC, NPPSC, or USFF N
  • Provide scheduled and ondemand training to commands which either demonstrate a deficiency in pay service support or as requested by the ISIC or command, to improve the level of performance by their teams.
  • Provide pay specific service support, training and education for commands transitioning from a PCU status to delivered status, from active unit to decommissioned / disestablished unit, and prior to and after homeport shifts.
  • Provide lessons learned and maintain historical data that can be studied at the TYCOM from 612 month intervals.
