Stellina Pizzería, un restaurante reconocido con una estrella Michelin, está buscando un cocinero de línea para unirse a nuestro equipo en nuestra nueva ubicación en Tysons Corner

Nuestro menú se centra en la comida del sur de Italia y pizzas de estilo neo-napolitano. Tendrás la oportunidad de trabajar junto al Chef Matteo Venini en nuestra cocina que da a la sala de comedor.

Responsabilidades incluyen:

Ejecutar diversas estaciones (garde manger, pasta, parrilla, ensaladas, pizza), lo que incluye preparar, limpiar y abastecer estaciones antes y después del servicio.
Trabajar en una cocina de ritmo rápido y ser capaz de manejar las demandas de servicios ocupados mientras se mantiene la calidad y consistencia de los platos.
Apoyar otras áreas de la cocina según sea necesario, y estar dispuesto y ser capaz de ayudar a los compañeros de equipo en el restaurante según sea necesario, incluido el manejo de deberes de otras estaciones (es decir, pastelería, pasta, etc.) o apoyar a los cocineros de preparación.
Mantener una estación de trabajo limpia, sanitizada y organizada durante cada turno, observando las pautas internas y regulatorias (de salud, departamento de bomberos, etc.) en todo momento.
Preparar y abastecer estaciones con todos los suministros necesarios.
Preparar alimentos para el servicio (por ejemplo, cortar verduras, deshuesar carne o preparar salsas).

Al menos 1 año de experiencia relevante en restaurantes preferida.
Pasión genuina por cocinar, la hospitalidad en restaurantes y aprender nuevas habilidades.
Altamente organizado, productivo y capaz de trabajar meticulosamente en un entorno de cocina/trabajo de alta intensidad.

Stellina Pizzeria, a Michelin bib gourmand restaurant, is looking for a line cook to join our team at our brand new location in Tysons Corner

Our menu is centered around Southern Italian food and neo-Neapolitan style pizzas. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside Chef Matteo Venini in our kitchen that overlooks the dining room.

Responsibilities include:

Execute various stations (garde manger, pasta, grill, salad, pizza), which includes prepping, cleaning, and stocking stations pre- and post-service
Work in a fast-paced kitchen and be able to handle rigors of busy services while also maintaining quality and consistency of dishes
Support other areas of the kitchen as needed, and be able and willing to assist teammates in the restaurant as needed, including handling duties of other stations (i.e., pastry, pasta, etc.) or supporting prep cooks
Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized workstation during each shift, while observing internal and regulatory (health, fire department, etc.) guidelines at all times
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

Requirements include:

At least 1 years of relevant restaurant experience preferred
Genuine passion for cooking, restaurant hospitality, and learning new skills
Highly organized, productive, and able to work meticulously in a high-intensity kitchen/work environment
Energetic and friendly personality, with strong willingness and ability to work as part of a cohesive team and support colleagues regardless of role
Broad and flexible availability to work – AM/PM service and prep/production
Physical requirements include ability to handle and carry trays, smallware, equipment, or other items up to 35lbs, and to stand, walk up and downstairs, and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time
