Our client, a company in the mobility industry, is looking for a Purchasing Specialist (m/f/d) to join their team in Dresden as soon as possible.

What you will do:

Conducting inquiries, tenders, obtaining quotes, and researching potential suppliers
Evaluating and selecting offers and suppliers while considering price, deadline, and delivery conditions
Negotiating in accordance with company guidelines and coordinating relevant departments
Placing optimal and legally binding orders (including electronically) for goods and services
Creating, managing, and maintaining material, purchasing, and supplier master data in SAP
Conducting special purchasing projects, developing procurement strategies and tools
Monitoring deadlines for service delivery and goods delivery, handling complaints and delivery reminders

What you bring:

Completed 3year university degree in business or industrial engineering
Ideally, several years of professional experience in purchasing
Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, SAP, and purchasingspecific software
Negotiating and communicating in English, both written and spoken
Responsible and costconscious approach
Negotiation skills
