Description

Summary

This is an exciting opportunity based in the VA Honolulu Regional Office. The main role involves providing vital administrative support to the supervisory and management team of the Veteran Service Center Division.

Duties

Key Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Supporting staff in maximizing manpower, space, and funds efficiency through thorough studies and analyses.
Compiling and presenting reports and projects to the Regional Office Director and VSC Manager.
Engaging with various agency stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
Managing and evaluating workload records and operational quality within the Service Center.
Preparing information for meetings and reports for management.
Generating regular and ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed.
Addressing inquiries regarding Department procedures and benefits.
Producing administrative documents to meet reporting needs and benefit applications.
Tracking employee FMLA, leave, and yearly balances for reporting.
Ensuring accuracy and completeness of internal correspondence.
Monitoring personnel actions and notifying Supervisors promptly.
Tracking and reporting on Division performance standards compliance.
Maintaining personnel records and office filing systems.
Coordinating employee travel arrangements.
Conducting analyses on Service Center operations effectiveness.
Developing and managing division budgets based on workload projections.
Tracking and evaluating operational progress and trends.

Work Schedule: Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
