The Communication, Information, and Media Center (KIM) is the central service facility of the University of Hohenheim for communication technology, digital information processing, and media supply.

The IT support, client, and identity management department of KIM is responsible, among other things, for the secure operation and further development of identity and authorization management (NetIQ IAM), including multi-factor authentication, as well as the associated directory services NetIQ eDirectory, OpenLDAP, and MS Active Directory.
