    Description

    Provide general guidance and supervision of laundry personnel. Oversee the proper operation and usage of all laundry equipment and chemical selection. Providing an efficient laundry service to the rest of the property.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Have an understanding and manage, if necessary, the laundry schedule for efficient use of the workforce
  • Manage material flow for optimal efficiency
  • Oversee quality control
  • Proper equipment use and training for all laundry attendants
  • Oversee the chemical material selection
  • Oversee Blackberry's housekeeping department's needs
  • Receive and expedite all Departmental requests
  • Document and record the inbound shipments
  • Supervise all receipts for Fed EX UPS DHL, Airborne, and other shippers
  • Recognition of short and long-term needs to maintain inventory

    • Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

    To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.

    Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests .

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Laundry attendants

    • EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Shipping and receiving knowledge preferred
  • General inventory control

    • LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Must be able to communicate with vendors, managers, and other team members.

    • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Must have a high level of understanding of basic math

    • REASONING ABILITY

  • Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals

    • PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • The job requires standing 90% of the day
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • May be required to work outside in all weather conditions
