Boston Event Guide is Boston's top event resource for young professionals to find out what's going on.We have some exciting projects in the works and are looking for a detail oriented, well-rounded and motivated event influencer & coordinator to join our team.
We have a list of popular events, including everything from wine & seltzer festivals to New Year's Eve events, and are looking to spread them into different locations.
You must have incredible event marketing skills, be great with people, and be ready to network all over BostonJoin Boston Event Guide as an Event Planner, Marketer/Ambassador creating buzz and expanding our events Looking to plan events and network with top venues in the city? This opportunity will give you direct access to becoming an ambassador and coordinator for Boston Event Guide, organizing and managing our events at different venues We are looking for a motivated individual that will help us spread the word about our long list of plug-and-play events to the top locations in the area. You will act as an ambassador for Boston Event Guide, contacting new businesses to coordinate events with them through us.
Possible Tasks include:
Marketing
- Marketing the events as an influencer/ambassador on social media or other networks
- Creating partnerships with groups and companies in the Boston area
- Researching great sponsors and vendors to participate in our event
- Researching and coordinating new event venues for our existing event themes
Event planning
- Event planning leading up to the events (optional incentive to plan or manage events)
- Managing the event the day of including event set up and registration
- Hiring and managing staff as needed
- Managing the event to ensure that it runs smoothly
