    Lead Backend Engineer - Miami

    $160k - $195k

    Join a Dynamic Technology Team

    Are you an experienced Lead Backend Engineer with a passion for DevOps and data engineering? We're seeking a talented individual to play a key role in the development and maintenance of our robust backend systems. As a crucial member of our team, you will work closely with the CTO, driving infrastructure and DevOps strategies aligned with our business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement scalable and resilient backend architectures.
    • Lead and manage DevOps initiatives, emphasizing infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and automation.
    • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable application deployment.
    • Architect and manage cloud-based environments, primarily AWS, ensuring optimal performance and security.
    • Spearhead data engineering efforts, including database design, modeling, and pipeline development.
    • Collaborate with the engineering team to seamlessly integrate backend solutions with front-end applications.

    Requirements:

    • Strong background in backend development, expertise in Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks.
    • Deep knowledge of DevOps principles and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform).
    • Experience with AWS cloud services and managing cloud infrastructure.
    • Proficient in building and managing CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software deployment.
    • Solid understanding of data engineering, including experience with large-scale databases and data processing tools.
    • Proven leadership skills with experience in mentoring and guiding engineering teams.
    • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, effectively liaising with various technical and non-technical stakeholders.
