Role Summary:
The Member Experience Associate plays a crucial role in being the friendly face and initial point of contact for Kiln community members.

Goals and Objectives:
Support the Community Management team by:

  • Embodying Kiln's core values and contributing to its mission
  • Fostering a welcoming and collaborative community atmosphere through events and member relationships
  • Ensuring smooth operations at Kiln facilities
  • Promoting Kiln's services and driving growth
  • Assisting the Community Team as needed under the guidance of the Community Director

Key Relationships:
  • Collaboration with other locations
  • Communication with members

Major Responsibilities:
Oversee front desk, lobby, storage areas, and office space at Kiln:

  • Greet team members, Kiln members, and guests warmly
  • Manage front desk and guest check-in
  • Handle mail services and distribution
  • Conduct walk-in tours and onboard new members
  • Maintain office organization and cleanliness
  • Manage events, inventory, and purchasing of supplies
  • Provide support for building operations and troubleshoot member issues
  • Collaborate with other departments and offer administrative support
  • Procure resources for new member desks and offices

Ideal Experience and Skills:
  • Some college education preferred
  • Experience in office management or administration
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Shows integrity, dependability, and empathy
  • Passionate about entrepreneurial communities and Kiln's values
  • Basic computer skills
