It is one of the central organizational pillars of the economic development of the Hessian state government. The Department of Economic Research and Regional Development advises the various departments of the state government on issues of demographic and economic development and supports the state in implementing measures and funding programs in the field of urban development.

The Hessen Agentur is looking for a dedicated Project Manager (m/w/d) Municipal Development and Urban Development Funding for the Department of Economic Research and Regional Development as soon as possible in full-time.

Your tasks:

Your profile:

  • Providing expert advice to the Hessian Ministry of Economics on current issues of sustainable urban development
  • Supporting the management and implementation of programs and initiatives for urban development in Hesse (including reviewing and evaluating funding applications, conducting competitions, public relations)
  • Processing inquiries from municipalities regarding urban development and city and neighborhood development
  • Supporting exchange of experiences and networking
  • Conceptualizing, planning, implementing and evaluating information and communication measures
    (professional events (digital and in person), workshops)
