The Cashier is primarily responsible for the smooth functioning and service aspect of a full service coffee shop, and retail market in a fast pace grab-n-go setting.

Libbey's Market is a high volume dining outlet frequented by families staying at the resort and golfers.

The Cashier is responsible for delivering the highest caliber of Forbes Five Star service to guests in a friendly and professional manner.

The Cashier creates a welcoming atmosphere that is inviting for guests of all ages, promoting the various coffee beverages, breakfast and lunch offerings as well as retail items.

The Cashier must have exceptional customer service, an approachable, engaging personality and the ability to relate and converse with all types of people.

Works cohesively with the food and beverage team members to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Fluency in the English language.Professional appearance and demeanor.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Exude a warm and sincere approach to guest service.Enjoy working in a fast paced, sometimes noisy environment.Ability to provide service efficiently while conveying a warm and friendly demeanor.High energy, flexible and adaptable.Ability to "read" the guest and anticipate guest needs.Ability to remember orders with accuracy.Ability to memorize menu and drink items.Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.Ability to exercise patience and diplomacy.Ability to multitask.Take initiative.Ability to work without constant, direct supervision

Desirable:

Experience in hospitality/restaurant industry in similar position.-Flexible schedule


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

That philosophy should be portrayed in the professional appearance, behavior, integrity, openness and accessibility to employees and guests.-Staff will always appear clean, crisp, polished, and well fitted in the correct uniform with their name badge on at all times while they are on duty.-The Cashier will always greet the guest in a welcoming and professional manner.-Recognize frequent guests and golf members and greet them by name.-Maintain a friendly yet unobtrusive manner with all guests throughout their experience.-Promote teamwork and foster a harmonious working climate.-Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the supervisor, manager, or resort management.-All associates must actively greet guests, smile, make eye contact and speak calmly and clearly in a friendly manner.-Follow checklists, daily responsibilities and work well as a part of a tem.-Ability to follow instructions and open to training.-Prepare coffee beverages and food items per guest order with accuracy and efficiency.-All areas must remain a neat, clean and organized environment at all times during the shift.-Each Cashier must always practice a "clean as you go" philosophy throughout their shift.-Cashiers are on "guests view" at all times.-All calls must be answered within three rings and use proper telephone etiquette.-The Cashier will speak in a calm, unrushed manner to best reflect a fine dining environment.-Cashier must remain professional and efficient at all times during service.-The Cashier will wish the guests a fond farewell before they depart.-The Cashier must make sure tender amount is correct, discounts are properly authorized and documented, F&B comps are signed by the MOD, all void reasons are logged and signed by the MOD and the tip is entered in correctly.-Each Cashier must ensure that they complete their daily side work MUST check out with MOD.-Properly handle and report employee or guest accidents and respond properly to any hotel emergency or safety situation.

The pay for this position is $16/hour. Plus gratuities.
