    Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator II

    The company is looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator II who will coordinate and conduct the day-to-day operation of clinical trials and other epidemiological studies.

    The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of protocol requirements and good clinical practices as per federal regulations.

    Main responsibilities include recruiting, following, and retaining study participants, performing study visits, data collection and entry, and quality control activities according to study protocol independently.

    Additionally, the role involves executing procedures required by the study protocol(s) like blood pressure measurements, EKG, and laboratory processing.

    The Clinical Research Coordinator II is accountable for all data and source documentation, adverse event reporting, and maintaining complete regulatory files, under direct supervision.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Knowledge of good clinical research practices
    • Strong ability to interact effectively with patients and the general public
    • Excellent organization, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
    • Capability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed
    • Proficiency in various software programs (including Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
    • Ability to obtain and sustain all required CITI training certificates
    • Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing at all necessary institutions

    NOTE: Mandatory Background Check, Physical, and Drug Screening for Incumbents Handling Animals or Animal Tissues

    Selected candidates will need to pass a background check and occupational health screening for employment.

    For certain roles, a drug screening will also be mandatory.

    These screenings will be done after a conditional employment offer has been made.

    Required Education and/or Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or RN with state licensure at time of hire and one year of related work experience
    • LPN with state licensure at time of hire and four years of related work experience
    • Master's Degree in a related field

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Knowledge of IRB submission process and requirements
    • Understanding of good clinical practices as per federal regulations

    Compensation Information
