To provide professional level Supply Chain support (purchasing, forecasting, supplier, and customer interface), and be responsible for one or multiple Kem Krest key programs or functions.
ASSIGNED FUNCTION:
Planner for Internal TransfersBuild and manage transfers of finished goods between facilities to support On Time Shipping as well as Inventory Turn goals across the entire company system
ASSIGNED FUNCTION:
Planner for Bulk TankersAct as the planner for bulk fluid tankers to support the production schedule.
Review Net Requirements to determine demand and timing for delivery of bulk fluid tankers.
Work closely with the Production Scheduler to communicate changes, delays, attempts to expedite.
Closely monitor suppliers to assure all new orders and revisions are acknowledged. Track inbound shipments to assure on time delivery to maintain the production schedule.
Maintain the tanker schedule. Monitor delivery windows and dock assignments.3)
OUTCOME:
Contribute to attainment of Established Budget Inventory TurnsManage large volume of raw materials and/or chemicals parts for assigned manufacturing in Brighton.
Provide weekly metric tracking for inventory turns and understand week to week changes.Responsible for keeping MRP system updated with key information (MOQ, pricing, etc.).Participate in cross functional meetings with Order Processing, Quality, Operations and After Sales.
4)OUTCOME:
Contribute to attainment of On Time Shipping (OTS) targetsInput internal weekly metric tracking for OTS.Be responsible for tracking of back orders.
Work with After Sales & Marketing teams to understand impact of customer promotion plans that impact OTS.Work with Production Scheduler to understand the impact of raw materials arriving for production.
5)OUTCOME:
Provide Weekly External Supplier & Internal Communications as requiredProvide weekly updates to the production schedule for products not meeting start dates.
Support any face to face or tele-conferences meeting with supplier contacts as needed.Be responsible for ongoing communication with suppliers on all parts responsible for.
Utilize available tools for supplier interface (Example:
Supplier Portal for Purchase Orders).6)
OUTCOME:
Contribute to Targeted Cost Savings for the Supply Chain teamUnderstand Supplier capabilities to support cost saving initiatives.
Work with Freight team to identify cost saving initiatives on inbound freight.7)

Ensure that all Work Instructions (WI) and Procedures are updated annuallyProvide updates as necessary for WI's and Procedures within the Supply Chain Group.
Understand role of WI's and Procedures within overall Quality area.Interface with other Supply Chain Associates in other locations to ensure best practices.8)

Provide support for targeted Continuous Improvement projectsWork with other members of Supply chain group on Continuous Improvement Projects within Supply Chain.

QualificationsSTRENGTHS TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Bachelor's degree is required; a Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Logistics concentration is preferred.
Prior experience (3+ yrs.) with Inventory Management, Purchasing, or Supply Chain is preferred.
Prior Supply Chain experience buying accessories, raw materials, packaged chemicals or in the chemical industry is preferred. Manufacturing environment is also preferred. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word); experience using MRP systems is a plus.
Excellent communication skills required.
Exceptional work ethic and desire to succeed.
Ability to work with and build strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
