    Position Summary:


    This position supports the Cancer Institutes Multidisiciplinary Conferences review of case pathology and is eligible for becoming a ODS-C (CTR) with in 3 year time frame.

    This position is repsonsible for assissting the pathology residents prepare for conference by pulling pathology slides that need to be reviewed at conference.

    This also entails helping the attending physicians that have no resident support. We have 7 conferences and have approximatley 2500 case presetenations per year. Also this position required attention to detail and slides should be filed back in a timely fashion. There are also QA sheets for College of American Pathology that are coordinated by this postion.


    Position Qualification:


    Applicants should have experience in the allied health fields and college course work in anaotmy and physiciology and medical terminology perferred.

    Experince with basic Office 365 with TEAMS and Excel perferred with knowledge of basic data base operations. This job entails close contact with conference submitters and agenda coordinators. There are many changes that take place until the final agenda is provided. They position is only 0.1 and time must stay at or below 10 hours a week. If more time is need then it must be approved by manager. The position can lead to more hours if the applicant is interested in becoming a Oncology Data Specialist.
