Emerson is seeking an experienced Utility with a passion for growth to join our team in Pasadena, Texas.

As a Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Control Utility, you will play a crucial role in handling the movement of products and maintaining accurate inventory records.

This dynamic position offers opportunities for professional development and advancement within the organization.


In this role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Build pallets, crates, and package goods for shipping, including weighing items on scales, plus using UPS, FedEx and other metering scales for shipping.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely, labeling packages with appropriate shipping information
  • Pull stock parts from inventory, both physically and in ERP system
  • Create Bill of Lading and other shipping documents used to ship materials
  • Move product using material handling equipment forklift, pallet jacks, cranes, etc.
  • Coordinate with carriers to schedule deliveries and track shipments in transit
  • Maintain organized inventory storage areas and ensure proper handling of products to prevent damage or loss.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping and receiving procedures, safety regulations and quality standards. Maintain excellent housekeeping in all shop areas by sweeping and emptying all garbage cans, recycle bins, chip hoppers and dumpsters

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in logistics or warehouse operations is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Computer experience required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications that Set you Apart:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience or shown experience within a manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process related problems is strongly preferred
  • Experience in the process control industry is a plus
