- Own and maintain a customer account portfolio
- Lead all collection activities for assigned accounts to ensure all past due amounts are collected
- Review and monitor assigned accounts and applicable collection reports
- Make outbound collection calls and resolve customer billing issues
- Collaborate and build strong rapport with field Sales team
- Respond to customer account inquiries in a timely and professional manner, daily
- Resolve client-invoicing problems with exceptional customer service
- Minimize past due amounts and potential write-offs
- Collaborate with other departments and colleagues on managing accounts
- Proactively identify potential issues attributing to account delinquency and communicate with management
- Consistently review and recommend proper collection account maintenance to management
- Communicate professionally, verbally and in writing
- 2+ years of office experience, Collections experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills required
- Must possess an entrepreneurial mentality
- Willing to make 100 phone calls per day
- Proven ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven track record of professional and personal integrity and ethics
