Greystones is seeking a Data Scientist II who applies the principles and techniques of data science, engineering, and statistical analysis knowledge in project and analysis plan development.

Additionally, they must identify trends, patterns, and anomalies found in big data sets by performing extensive data analysis and develop insights.

This position is hybrid, reporting to Falls Church, Alexandria, or Arlington VA weekly.


Major Duties/Tasks:

• Support development of insider threat strategies in support of protecting technical offerings; balance shortterm wins with longterm investments to progressively mature defenses against insider threats.
• Assist in the coordination of policy and strategy related to insider threats with industry partners and other DoD components.
• Utilize data sources to select data that are relevant to measuring, identifying, and defending against insider threats.
• Provide insight in developing capabilities to detect insider threats among large user communities, leveraging combination of statistical, classical machine learning, and deep learning methods.
• Write documentation about the team?s strategic approach to insider threat defense and how it fits within the broader DoD insider threat ecosystem.
