Kavahana is Santa Monica's first non-alcoholic bar specializing in kava nectar Kava nectar is a drink inspired by 3,000 years of history in the Pacific Islands; it supports relaxation and socialization WITHOUT alcohol In other words,
it's the best non-alcoholic drink you can actually feel. We can't wait to bring on some team members who can have as much fun sharing the joy of kava nectar as we do.

You will be joining a very friendly, welcoming team, all dedicated to great customer service and educating about kava nectar, what it is, and how it makes you feel

Responsibilities:

Work regular weekly shifts as a bartender at our in person bar in Santa Monica
Make craft nonalcoholic cocktails for customers
Help create and edit engaging content while on shift for social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok
Educate customers on kava nectar and provide a welcoming customer experience

Qualifications:

Knowledge of the food OR beverage industry is preferred
Familiarity with food safety regulations and guidelines
Strong time management skills
Experience with cash register operations and retail math is a plus
Work experience with Social Media creation preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

Job Type:
Part-time

Salary:
$17.00 per hour + tips (very significant and 100% of tips go to employees and never to the business)

Expected hours: 18 per week
