Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Open Warehouse each day (unlock dock door, unlock walkin cooler, turn on lights, turn on heat as appropriate etc.)
  • Ensure warehouse is tidy and organized (all bins "faced" on shelves, no debris on floor, boxes organized and sorted, no product left on the floor etc., paste is rotated and all stock is FIFO) on a daily basis
  • Perform Receiving on a daily basis (check all packing slips against physical counts received, open boxes and visually check product received for accuracy and damage, sign off on packing slips, receive goods into the system, match up paperwork with Purchase Orders etc., put all items way by close of business each day)
  • Receive in and process Returned Materials (RMA's)
  • Make sure samples are given to requesting party ASAP when they come in
  • Pull orders and Ship orders on a daily basis (make sure part numbers and quantities are correct, record lot codes where appropriate, attach certifications where required, safely package all shipments, attach Hazmat paperwork correctly where required)
  • Close up warehouse each night (lock dock door, lock walkin cooler, make sure all daily tasks are completed, turn off lights, turn off heat as appropriate)
  • Do light janitorial throughout the facility (i.e. clean bathrooms, empty garbage, vacuum office, clean front windows, other tasks as required)
  • Light Maintenance (as required)
  • Snow removal of front walk in winter and in back to ensure forklift access
  • Perform cycle counts as directed by supervisor
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Good computer proficiency (MS Office
  • Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • High school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
