- Electrical degree or related discipline is required
- Six to ten years of experience in manufacturing industry
- Hands on supervisor. 60% of time should be on the production floor
- Strong accountability, involvement, and expectation for herself/himself but also for the other members of the team
- People oriented: focus on respecting the rules, processes, and procedures
- Strong decision-making skills with an ownership attitude
- Respond to emergency calls from production
- Maintains all electrical systems, control systems, and equipment

The maintenance supervisor reports to the Maintenance Manager. The individual understands, reviews, and inspects the work performed on electrical/electronic systems.
Role and Responsibilities
Includes the following, but other duties may be assigned.
Under limited direction, install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls. Interpret architectural drawings and electrical code specifications. Form and test electrical circuits to ensure health and safety regulations. Assure proper functioning and illumination of electrical equipment. Work on equipment such as electrical transmission lines, motors, generators, distribution and plant equipment. May conduct preventive maintenance programs.
