Position Summary

You will be tasked with providing knowledge and expertise in the usage of Durst Tau Digital Printers, Durst Workflow Front End Software and associated Servers, Advanced Application Software Support, and become a product specialist to Durst Customers in North America.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide level three customercritical customer support, installation and product beta support & roll out, working jointly with multiple Durst teams to quickly resolve complex mission critical issues within a stringent time frame.
  • Resolve these critical customer issues, ranging from down equipment to knowledge gaps.
  • Continued development and learning of the new technologies and constantly changing procedures of the job, while maintaining a backlog of previous procedures and technologies.
  • Responsible for instruction, content and presentation of customer training and/or employee training.
  • Become proficient in operating and demonstrating all assigned Durst printers with expectation to back fill for team members.
  • Continuous equipment education to gain an excellent working knowledge of Durst equipment (software/hardware).
  • Provide Sales Team support for demonstrations and/or "best in class" samples for potential sales opportunities.
  • Assure the quality and timeliness of samples, demonstrations and training provided in support of sales or service team.
  • Provide advice and direction to customer regarding printing environment conditions required for optimal performance.
  • Maintain professional image in the Durst US training, demonstration centers and customer locations.
  • Complete all jobrelated administrative aspects (reports, time/expense reporting, etc.) on time and error free.

Travel Requirements
Travel is required for training, onsite service calls, and tradeshows throughout North America and ranges from 80-90% overnight stays.

Travel to Europe for training may be necessary and the ability to maintain a US passport is required for employment at Durst.

A non-restricted driver license is a requirement for continued employment at Durst.

Job Qualifications

  • Indepth understanding of digital imaging technology and workflow
  • Strong working knowledge of Digital Front End Software, e.g. Esko
  • Willingness and experience for extensive travel demands (up to 80%)

  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills

Pay:
$90, $110,000.00 per year
