Expected Salary:

The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, and the compensation includes a full benefits package.


Minimum Requirements:

Ph.
D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a closely related area

Strong background in natural products isolation and structural elucidation, including 1D and 2D NMR, LC- or GC-MS


Preferred Qualifications:


Previous experience with any of the following techniques:

  • Organic synthesis
  • Molecular biology
  • Bacterial genetics, including work with _Streptomyces_
  • Microbial fermentation
  • Protein purification and characterization
  • Bioinformatics
  • A strong track record of publications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to take initiative, set priorities, timemanage, and resolve problems
