- Develop and maintain domestic and international tax strategy in order to facilitate business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate legal compliance as it relates to income tax, sales tax, transfer pricing and more.
- Take the lead in the preparing and filing of tax returns. Oversees prep of annual provisions.
- Stay on top of tax optimization opportunities in order to minimize liability.
- Function as the international tax expert for the business.
- Serve as the POC for all audit and tax related inquiries and manage the 3rd party CPA firm relationship.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in tax law and regulations, communicating concerns and implications to upper management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a top tier university
- 5+ years of relevant experience in taxation, ideally with a mix of public accounting & private industry
- Technical knowledge of tax compliance and law, experience owning both domestic and international tax processes
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong working relationships across departments.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a FAST-PACED environment.
