Description

The Wiegand-Glas Group is one of the top 3 container glass manufacturers in Germany and produces over eight million glass containers daily for the beverage and food industry in its four factories in Steinbach am Wald (Bavaria), Ernstthal, Großbreitenbach, and Schleusingen (Thuringia). In the fiscal year 2021/2022, the group generated a total turnover of around 616 million euros.

Your responsibilities:

Mechanical repairs, maintenance, and inspection of standard machinery (cooling ovens, fans, insertion machines, tanks, recycling plant for used glass, mixing plants)
Installation work (vacuum, water, compressed air, oil, etc.)
Sheet metal work (manufacturing of channels, pipes, air nozzles, etc.)
Light structural steel work (manufacturing of stairs, walkways, and platforms, etc.)
Setting up, commissioning, repairing, and maintaining machinery

Your qualifications:

Successfully completed training as an industrial mechanic/welder or mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or equivalent
Reliability, teamwork, flexibility, and commitment
Physical resilience
High level of quality awareness and independent and reliable work
