Our client is a cooperative credit institution based in Hesse, operating nationwide.

Responsibilities

The Treasury department is responsible for actively managing and optimizing the bank's balance sheet structure, with a focus on liquidity, interest rate, equity, and risk management, including investment and portfolio management in the A portfolio. A key task of the department is to provide long-term refinancing funds to support the bank's growth and enable financing of new loan transactions. In addition, another central area of responsibility is achieving an appropriate risk-adjusted performance of the present value and increasing it through the use of appropriate and modern money and capital market instruments.

As Director/Head of Treasury, you will be responsible for income and risk-oriented balance sheet and liquidity management based on the bank's business and risk strategy, as well as positioning the bank in the capital market. You will lead a team, report directly to a board member, and contribute to overall bank management and development.

Specific tasks and responsibilities include:

Liquidity and risk management: Actively manage the bank's interest book and identify and manage liquidity and financial risks. Implement effective hedging strategies to minimize these risks and ensure the bank's financial stability.

You will be responsible for the disposition of the bank's own investments within the product catalog and the decisions of the investment committee, and develop investment concepts to implement
