    Description

    Westview Animal Hospital in Catonsville, MD is growing and searching for an associate veterinarian to join our team. We have been providing high quality care to the beloved dogs and cats of our community since 1970. Our facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic features, including digital dental x-ray and ultrasound, as well as echocardiography.

    About Us:

    • We are Low Stress Handling Certified
    • Our team handles advanced dentistry cases and have a passion for ultrasound procedures.
    • We have experienced support staff, some who have been with us for 10 years
    • Our technician to doctor ratio is 2:1 for our 25 minute appointments.
    • Our support staff and veterinarians enjoy many team outings together What we have to offer:
      • Mentorship and growth opportunities: this position would suit a new grad or experienced veterinarian.
      • We encourage continued education for everyone at our hospital: we include an allowance and 5 days off for CE.
      • Scheduling flexibility for our veterinarians: with the option to work 4 or 5 days/week with rotating Saturdays.
      • Work/Life Balance: no after hours requirements and the option to work 36-38 hours/week.
      • Great benefits: competitive salary including a $40k sign-on bonus, medical benefits (including health, dental and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance and PTO, vacation PTO, dues and liability coverage, mentorship, and growth opportunities.
      • We are offering a $40,000 sign-on bonus for working full-time at WAH and can negotiate an additional bonus for splitting time between this location and our other nearby locations.

        Catonsville, Maryland is a quick 10-minute drive to all of the Inner Harbor attractions of downtown Baltimore. We are also a 40-minute drive to Washington, DC. Sports, concerts, dining, arts, indoor and outdoor activities are all abundant in our area.
