    Description

    Job Title: Bilingual Program Supervisor at YAI



    About the Position:

    Looking for a skilled bilingual Program Supervisor to effectively lead an interdisciplinary team in Brooklyn and Manhattan crisis intervention locations at YAI.


    Key Responsibilities:
    • Ensure health, safety, and habilitation of individuals we support
    • Provide necessary program/floor coverage
    • Maintain program excellence
    • Develop empathic relationships with family members
    • Lead interdisciplinary team meetings
    • Promote interagency collaboration
    • Uphold a harassment-free work environment
    • Play an active role in the hiring process
    • Encourage professional development of staff
    • Supervise staff to meet agency standards
    • Foster communication between relevant supports
    • Oversee financial systems and maintain records
    • Create and maintain written records related to individual treatment
    • Report and monitor incidents
    • Adapt responsibilities as needed

    Compensation:
    $62,400 - $62,400/year

    Education and Experience:
    • BA/BS, MA/MS preferred
    • Experience in supervision and Direct Support Professional roles
    • Background in supporting individuals with disabilities or mental health

    Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
    • Initiative-taking mindset
    • Flexibility for varied work hours
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to learn and use Workforce Management software
    • Valid Driver's License preferred
    • MA/MS required for certain roles
