JOB SUMMARY:


The primary role of the Assistant Clinical Director is to be a counterpart to the Clinical Director to ensure effective implementation of ABA programs by managing the clinical team, supporting daily tasks in the clinic and field, and assisting with vital decisions regarding the day-to-day operations of the clinic.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Collaborate with the clinical director to design, implement, and evaluate ABA programs.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance measures to ensure delivery of highquality ABA services.
  • Ensure that ABA programs are individualized and aligned with best practice.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of client programs, Behavior Intervention Plans, and documentation to maintain compliance with company standards.
  • Train and supervise BCBAs, BCaBAs and ABA Interns on the proper implementation of educational and clinical behavior programs, plans, data collection systems and monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Oversee training programs and protocols for BCBAs, BCaBAs, Behavior Technicians, Registered Behavior Technicians, and ABA Interns.
  • Review treatment plans completed by BCBAs, BCaBAs, or ABA Interns in training and provide necessary feedback prior to insurance submission.
  • Review billable hours and documentation of hours and ensure compliance with Reliant ABA Therapy Inc. policy, state, federal, and BACB regulations.
  • Ensure that caseload expectations are accurate and reasonable across the clinical team members.
  • Attend insurance authorization review calls and peer reviews for clients.
  • Conduct clinical team members' performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth.
  • Conduct weekly or biweekly clinical staff meetings and quarterly inservice training.
  • Meet with the Director of Behavioral Services on an as needed basis to provide general updates and/or report issues impacting client's progress and satisfaction.
  • Manage a small client caseload; prepare and submit all required documentation on time and of standard.
  • Perform direct and indirect assessments to identify functions of client's behaviors.
  • Develop individualized treatment plan and behavior support plan based on the functions of the behavior and treatment methodologies that are evidencebased.
  • Develop individualized goals and objectives for home programs and design behavior support plans based on functional assessment data. Asst. Clinical Director
  • Ensure appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continuous evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives.
  • Consult and provide training to caregivers.
  • Attend relevant meetings for clients, including but not limited to team meetings, staff meetings, IEP meetings (as allowed and needed).
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented treatment plans and modify as need be.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, families, and caregivers as necessary to ensure continuity of care.
  • Adhere to legal and professional standards and requirements, the principles of behavior analysis and always demonstrate sound professional judgment.
  • Remain current on ABA principles, research, and continuing education in ABA.
  • Adhere to the BACB's Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
  • Maintain confidentiality and always protect company operations information.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, support company goals and values, complete tasks on time or notify appropriate parties if a deadline will not be met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:


  • Masters degree in a related field.
  • Current Texas License and BCBA Certification
  • Must demonstrate ability to lead, manage and oversee large clinical teams with strong knowledge of ABA principles, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
  • Must demonstrate thorough understanding of DTT, PECS, and other ABA strategies.
  • Must have knowledge of the use of assessment tools used in the evaluation of children.
  • Experience working directly with children with Autism
