  • The Spanish-Speaking Hospice Caregiver will provide personalized care and support to patients in their endoflife journey. This role involves offering physical, emotional, and spiritual care in alignment with the patient's needs and wishes. The caregiver will communicate effectively with patients, families, and the hospice team to ensure a compassionate and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide education to the family on hospice non medical are as needed
  • Provide direct patient care, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and medication reminders.
  • Communicate effectively in Spanish with patients and their families to understand and respect their needs and preferences.
  • Offer emotional and spiritual support to patients and families, ensuring a comforting presence.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation to maintain a comfortable living environment for patients.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the patient's condition to the hospice nurse or family.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and observations.
  • Respect and adhere to the patient's cultural and religious practices and beliefs.
  • Provide respite care for family caregivers, allowing them time for rest and selfcare.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with hospice care practices and protocols.

From $17.00 per hour
