Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join our team.

The Estimating Manager will be responsible for overseeing the estimation process, managing a team of estimators, and ensuring accurate and competitive bid for construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine the overall scope of work
Utilize software and other construction estimating tools to prepare detailed cost estimates
Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids
Analyze project costs, negotiate prices with vendors and subcontractors, and ensure cost control measures are in place
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to support the bidding process
Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to ensure competitive pricing strategies

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
Proficiency in using estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to analyze contracts and pricing structures
Excellent communication skills to interact efficiently with internal teams and external stakeholders
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
