SUMMARY:

The
Shipper Receiver is responsible for verifying and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic computer knowledge required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver's License required
Complete and pass OSHA approved forklift training

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist Parts Manager, Inventory Control Personal & Warehouse Coordinator with day to day business operations.
Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Receive & post incoming orders, reconcile vendor invoices & all shipping paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Help determine method and mode of shipment to customer requirements when needed.
Help prepare and expedite shipments in a timely and accurate manner when needed.
Proper operation of equipment to safety and productivity requirements, including but not limited to: Lift truck or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas. Proper use of personal protective equipment is required. Operate all machinery, tools and equipment in a safe manner. Advise parts manager if there is anything in need of repair.
Unpacks, examines, put away and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Able to receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit (RMA). Check in and stock parts inventory and ensure accuracy, when needed.
Monitor, receive & process incoming customer returns; new returns, damage claims, warranty returns & core returns. Coordinate inspection of cores, warranties and claims with proper personal.
Monitor & maintain parts without bin locations; assign proper bin location, verify quantities and make adjustment.
Corresponds with inventory control regarding any damages/shortages (any claims).
Correspond with inventory control regarding vendor bills & invoices.
Corresponds with inventory control; inventory discrepancies, claims, and credits by month end.
Correspond with inventory control; daily cycle counts and variance checks of inventory as needed.
Invoice & help prepare Parts invoices for delivery drivers.
Help keep and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Work in a team environment.
Pickup and deliver parts or raw materials to & from our suppliers and customers using a company van as requested.
Adhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies in the workplace to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environment.
