- Accurate and timely reporting of diagnostic testing. \t
- Performance and interpretation of Quality Control/Calibration and participation in all quality assessment/improvement activities. \t
- Maintaining clinical competency through on-going education and professional development. \t
- Demonstrating knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
- Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science. \t
- Minimum: Clinical internship/education as part of Associate Degree Program.
- National Certification: MLT (ASCP) or equivalent. \t
- Certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire date.
- Varied shifts as needed; PRN
