The town of Großostheim is currently seeking an

Electronics Technician (m/f/d)

or

Industrial Electrician (m/f/d)

for the Bachgau wastewater treatment plant.

The responsibilities include the maintenance of the control, measurement and regulation technology, as well as the automation and process control technology of the Bachgau wastewater treatment plant and its external stations.

Typical tasks include troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions, recurring inspections of various facilities, and commissioning and decommissioning of equipment and machinery.

The Bachgau wastewater treatment plant is designed for 35,000 population equivalents. It operates 25 external stations, two combined heat and power plants, and a wide range of equipment and machinery. The fleet consists of a car, a wheel loader, and a small van.

The control is carried out using modern measurement and control technology, including process automation (Siemens S7) and visualization (Schraml Aquasys).

We expect:
A completed vocational training in one of the above-mentioned professions or in a comparable field.
In-depth knowledge of handling control, steering, and measurement technology
In-depth knowledge of handling machinery and equipment technology
Knowledge of recurring inspections
Knowledge of process automation
Participation in maintenance and repair work of all kinds
Manual dexterity and technical understanding
Resilience, independent work style
Helpfulness, teamwork
Class B driver's license
Availability for on-call duty after training
