Description
Repackers are responsible for repacking, restacking, visually inspect modules and/or individual bottles, scrapping, and relabeling operations of palletized glass.
This is for a 3rd shift position that runs 11:00pm to 7:00am on a rotating schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Verify the repack, relabel, restacking, or dumping instruction on the Resort Worksheet are correct.
  • Ability to document the load tag number form the current pallet processed onto the Resort Worksheet before the pallet is unwrapped.
  • Ability to construct cardboard trays and cartons.
  • Ability to review line orders at the start of the shift.
  • Ability to communicate with supervisor on any special needs for ware being handled.

Qualifications EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**:


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must be able to understand, read, speak and write in English.
  • Demonstrate ability to correctly detect and classify defects in glassware.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts:
  • Ability to follow departmental and plant S.O.P.'s.
  • Maintain general housekeeping and 5S.
