Description
CAD Designer
- Create detailed CAD drawings for land development projects including subdivisions, townhomes, restaurants, banks, and standalone businesses.
- Utilize Civil 3D software to design grading, erosion control, stormwater management, and sewer systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct site visits and surveys as needed to gather data for design purposes.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, reports, and specifications.
- Assist in the review and approval process with regulatory agencies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices related to land development and CAD design.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and coordination efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Land Development, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Civil 3D, with a strong understanding of grading, erosion control, stormwater management, and sewer design.
- Experience working on residential and/or commercial land development projects is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and codes governing land development projects.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Professionalism and a commitment to delivering highquality design solutions.
Pay:
$60, $85,000.00 per year
