Description

CAD Designer

Create detailed CAD drawings for land development projects including subdivisions, townhomes, restaurants, banks, and standalone businesses.
Utilize Civil 3D software to design grading, erosion control, stormwater management, and sewer systems.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Conduct site visits and surveys as needed to gather data for design purposes.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, reports, and specifications.
Assist in the review and approval process with regulatory agencies.
Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices related to land development and CAD design.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and coordination efforts.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Land Development, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Civil 3D, with a strong understanding of grading, erosion control, stormwater management, and sewer design.
Experience working on residential and/or commercial land development projects is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and codes governing land development projects.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
