POSITION: Food Service- Server
LOCATION: To be determined
WORK YEAR: School Year; Alternate shifts when school is not in session
RATE OF PAY: Per Local 1305 Collective Bargaining Agreement

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School graduate or equivalent
Possess good habits, character and attendance records
Be neat and clean in appearance
Ability to work alone and within a group to complete tasks
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions
Ability to read instructions and follow verbal and written directions
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with students, parents, and staff in a professional manner
Ability to cooperate and work collaboratively with team members at all levels and positions
Ability to communicate positively with every student
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Ability to walk, bend, stoop and squat as part of daily job duties
Ability to work outside and in inclement weather conditions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A working line position involving cashier duties, computer knowledge, preparation, cooking, and clean-up of school lunch and a 'la carte items
Assist Head Cook in food preparation, cooking, clean-up, counter work, rotation and putting away of stock.
Complete the 'Serv Safe' food sanitation class and/or Food Service Managers Certification class
Adhere to all Health Department/HACCP rules and regulations
