As the
Project Manager, US Medical for the US Medical Anti-Infective & Respiratory Therapeutic Area (TA) you will be responsible for providing process, discipline, and structure to support effective planning and execution of the Medical Plan/US Evidence Generation Plan and effective running of the Medical Matrix Teams.


_ Key Responsibilities_:


  • This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following._
  • Medicine Plan Tracking and Management (including Launch Plans)
  • Tracks and Maintains Medical plan in Smartsheet (supports dataentry and maintenance)
  • Supports tracking progress/status against UMAP activities to provide status of deliverables and alignment to budget; Provides reminders on due dates
  • Schedules execution checks when needed
  • Follows up with business owners on progress and completion of activities
  • Coordinates complex business processes for prespecified tactics (not responsible for completing activities, documentation or approvals)
  • Support of Medical Matrix Team and VEST meetings
  • Call for agenda items, agenda and time slot planning
  • Collating agendas and prereads
  • Scribe for meeting; capturing and circulating meeting outcomes and decisions
  • Tracking meeting actions and followup with action owners
  • Pre and post meeting communications
  • Archiving content in an appropriate repository that is readily available for team reference
  • Support of Annual Business Planning process
  • Calendar, Tracking and Timelines
  • Process support for planning meetings (Scribe, call for agenda, action tracking, etc)
  • Completion of budget or other required templates
  • Collation of materials and plans
  • Coordination of processes related to completion of Medical Impact Framework and quarterly reporting
  • Areas for Scalability in role depending on TA/Business Area Model:
  • Help prepare materials needed for organizational presentations
  • Secure System approvals as Business Owners Delegate where appropriate per process
  • Act as a trusted business partner to the USMA Enterprise, Global Franchise and US Pharma and drive continuous improvement by introducing innovative ideas and identifying better ways to creatively streamline ways of working
  • Lead Special Projects for TA-Wide initiatives that align to USMA Ambitions

Basic Qualifications:


  • We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:_
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience in Medical Affairs.
  • 1 or more years Pharmaceutical company experience.
  • Experience working in large matrix organization.
  • Experience in leading, managing and working collaboratively with internal crossfunctional teams, with and without authority.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:_
  • Experience in process management, operations, and budget management.
  • Expertise in managing senior stakeholders, communication planning and change management.
  • Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
  • Understanding of GSK matrix and organizational functions.
  • Understanding of US Medical Affairs ways of working preferred.
  • Smartsheet + basic Microsoft 365 (Outlook, OneNote, Teams, Office.
