As an Adolescent Behavioral Health Counselor at Devereux, your role involves impacting individuals by helping them reach their full potential daily.

Responsibilities as an Adolescent Behavioral Health Counselor:

Ensure the safety of the individuals under your care
Engage in daily activities like ADLs, recreational, and social activities
Address and redirect inappropriate behaviors
Work towards treatment plan goals and objectives

BENEFIT ELIGIBILITY AFTER 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT

Available Shifts: 7am-3pm | 2pm - 10pm | 10pm - 8am

Compensation: $17.50-$23.05/hr (based on experience and education)

Sign-On Bonus: FT=$1,000/PT=$500 (for external applicants only)

About Devereux Pennsylvania Childrens Services (DPACS): This center caters to children, adolescents, and young adults facing various challenges, including autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric issues. Services offered include residential treatment, psychiatric services, community-based programs, and educational services for children and adolescents.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma Required (Education Evaluation required for international degrees)

EXPERIENCE: Some background in behavioral health is preferred

Devereux maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and actively works to prevent it within the organization. Reporting abuse is encouraged, and full cooperation with authorities is ensured.
