One Pride. For All.The Conversions Coordinator position is responsible assisting the Director of Facility Services with multiple event conversions & set-ups throughout Ford Field.
The Conversions Coordinator will be required to work a varied schedule that will include evenings, late nights, holidays and weekends.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (including, but not limited to): The Conversions Coordinator position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, the following:Set up equipment for various events, including tables, chairs, pipe/drape, inflatables, signage, tensa barrier, staging, and other equipment as necessaryMaintain organized inventory and clean work areas to allow for safe, easy access to equipment and efficient event setupWork closely with temporary labor company to schedule and manage labor crewAttend and actively participate in event planning meetingsEffectively supervise crew of temporary employees to maximize efficiencyEnsure safety is a priority at all times, follow OSHA standardsNONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Must be motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a teamMaintain professionalism when communicating with internal and external contactsMust be accurate and efficient with ability to meet deadlinesWill adjust work schedule to meet departmental demandsMust be detail oriented with strong organizational skillsWill quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of actionWill adapt to last minute client requests and changesWill accept other responsibilities and duties required by the supervisor consistent with the objectives and essential functions of this position.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of two years' experience in conversionsHigh School Degree or equivalentAbility to complete tasks with limited supportStrong organizational and time management skillsExceptional ability to pay attention to detail and follow-upAbility to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of actionAbility to operate portable radios, telephones, copiers, computers and other equipment associated with the responsibilities of the jobAbility to adapt to last minute client requests and changesAbility to walk, sit, climb, crawl, kneel, squat, bend, and extend arms and legs fullyAbility to use hands to manipulate and effectively use tools and controlsAbility to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 poundsAbility to obtain certification for safe operation of forkliftAbility to operate a box truckNo fear of heightsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and guestsMust have the ability to work independently with the ability and willingness to take directionA valid Driver's License and a good driving record
