You:

  • Manage and lead material development projects and ensure achievement of goals regarding properties, costs, and deadlines
  • Independently conduct material approval, documentation, and maintenance in the material database and connected IT systems, providing innovative materials for construction to the specialist departments
  • Contribute to material concepts with your knowledge and support concept and series development through material analysis, defining material requirements, and evaluating supplier concepts

You:

  • Hold a successfully completed technical degree in materials engineering, material science, or mechanical engineering with a focus on process and materials engineering
  • Have in-depth knowledge of steel, aluminum, and plastic materials development and application
  • Bring professional experience in the development of body and chassis components
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of material development processes and material procurement processes
  • Speak fluent German
