Description
Housekeeping ManagerDuties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department in a hotel setting
- Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean, wellmaintained, and meet established standards
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to address guest needs and resolve issues
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards
- Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, such as room occupancy rates and maintenance requests
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using housekeeping software or systems is preferred
Pay:
$ $28.85 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
