Description
Plaza ObGyn Associates is seeking to hire an experienced Coding and Billing Specialist with experience

to join our in-house billing team.


Responsibilities:


  • Also will post payments and respond to denials and poor payments.

Qualifications:


  • Experience in managing insurance denials and submitting appeal to insurance companies is required.
  • Knowledge in surgical coding for Ob/Gyn procedures such as hysterectomies and laparoscopies. including modifiers.
  • Ability to accurately code for deliveries considering factors like global packages and antepartum
- care.

  • Must have knowledge in coding for OB visits and other services like ultrasounds, NST and. BioPhysical Profiles.
  • Monitor for required preAuthorization. for services.
  • Must be familiar with modifiers and bundling rules related to OB/GYN coding to ensure appropriate reimbursement.
  • Must be dependable and be able to multitask.
  • Experience with E-Clinical is helpful.
