As a specialist, you will be responsible for the strategic procurement and modernization of rail vehicles, as well as leading innovative projects for continuous development in the department.


Your main tasks will include:

  • Keeping track of technical advancements through continuous market research and bringing innovative ideas to the company
  • Conducting feasibility analyses and evaluating concepts such as automated depots, digitalization of workshop processes, and the use of augmented reality (AR) and elearning
  • Developing innovation concepts and leading crossdepartmental innovation projects
  • Collaborating with other departments in approval and certification processes for new rail vehicle procurement and technical changes
  • Supporting the project work for the modernization of our vehicle fleet and potentially taking on the project management for new rail vehicle procurement in the future

Your profile should include:

  • A completed university degree in engineering with a focus on electrical engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Completion of the training for *zur Betriebsleiter*in nach BOStrab is desirable. If not yet completed, we will
