Paramount Healthcare Services is seeking an Office Manager who is compassionate, kind and with excellent customer service skills, who is willing to go above and beyond their duties.
Your duties would include submitting and following up on prior authorizations, managing payers including Medicaid and Medicare and more.Responsibilities:
- Handle referrals, clinical information and physician orders from various hospital and vendor portals.
- Submit prior authorizations to various payers including MassHealth.
- Understand and operate within all Medicaid, Medicare and other payer guidelines.
- Manage patient scheduling, electronic file management, and general office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization.
- Supervises job classifications and assures that 90 day and annual evaluations are completed in a timely manner throughout entire operation.
- Selects and maintains a qualified, wellorganized staff to provide care for the needs of the patients.
- Coordinates with the billing department to put in claims.
- Complete pre bill on a weekly basis to expedite the billing process.
- Assure the confidentiality of all patients, physicians, and proprietary information.
- Act as a communication bridge between patients and the clinical team.
- Stays informed about thirdparty new regulations pertaining to home health service, compliance and confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of home care experience
- Experience with insurance preauthorizations
- Experience with insurance navigation
- Experience with billing is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and home health software (Axxess home health software is a plus)
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.

Pay:
From $70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
