- Formulate and enhance polymer coatings to drive quality product development and advance display technology.
- Lead defect analysis efforts to improve coating uniformity and minimize imperfections, especially on challenging substrates.
- Utilize experiments and advanced techniques to predict coating performance and drive innovation.
- Collaborate with various teams to take projects from concept to full-scale manufacturing.
- Develop and optimize coating parameters for strong substrate adhesion and quality.
- Stay updated on coating technology advancements, contributing to a culture of excellence and innovation.
- BS/MS in Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field (advanced degrees preferred).
- Strong grasp of thin film polymeric coatings fundamentals, including formulation, rheology, and surface energy.
- Proficiency in Design of Experiments and Statistical Analysis.
- Experience with roll-to-roll coating processes and polymer materials is highly desirable.
- Industry experience is a plus, but academic background and research experience are also valued.
