    Job Summary

    Position Summary:

    The speech and language pathology assistant (SLPA) assists the Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) in providing direct speech therapy services to students with speech and language disorders as well as physical, emotional, and learning disabilities according to the students' Individualized Education Program (IEP).

    The SLPA will directly manage virtual and/or in-person therapy sessions for individuals and groups.

    The SLPA is also responsible for all manner of preparation, documentation, data collection, study material creation, and consultation, as pertains to each individual student's IEP or the needs of the school.

    The SLPA will work under the supervision of the credentialed SLP and administrative designee.

    Three (3) current, professional letters (at least one from a direct supervisor)

    Copy of Transcripts:
    Unofficial copies of all college/university transcripts

    Credential Copy:
    Credential Copy (Proof of valid, current, and appropriate California teaching credential as a PDF print out from CTC (copy should reflect dates of issuance and expiration)
    English Learner Authorization (If not embedded in credential, provide a copy of CLAD, CTEL or equivalent) if applicable
