    Hennepin County's Public Health department is in search of an experienced Clinic Manager to lead the Red Door Clinic, the largest sexual health clinic in Minnesota. The Clinic Manager will oversee various programs at Red Door Clinic, including services for tuberculosis, refugee health exams, sexually transmitted infections, HIV prevention, family planning, and more. They will be a key figure in the clinical programs at Red Door, serving as a leader within the community.

    The Red Door Clinic has expanded significantly over the years, offering a wide range of services aimed at addressing health disparities. This includes outreach programs to communities affected by HIV/syphilis outbreaks and opioid epidemics. The Clinic also manages multiple grant portfolios, enhancing its impact and reach.

    Hennepin County Public Health is dedicated to promoting health and racial equity, recognizing racism as a critical public health issue. The department is committed to instigating change and collaborating with affected communities to foster optimal health and well-being for all.

    Location and Hours:

    The position is based in downtown Minneapolis at the Hennepin County Public Health Clinic with standard work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Newly hired employees in remote or hybrid roles between January 2, 2022, and December 31, 2024, are eligible for a connectivity allowance after completing 6 months of employment.

    About the Position:

    This is a full-time role with benefits, classified internally as a Clinic Manager. Employees may receive additional merit-based cash rewards upon reaching the salary range maximum contingent on performance.

    In this role, you will:

    • Supervise front-line supervisors to ensure quality healthcare services at Red Door Clinic.
    • Lead and coordinate activities across all program lines and oversee strategic initiatives.
    • Engage with communities impacted by health disparities and establish partnerships to support clinic objectives.
    • Manage daily clinic operations and program development.
    • Collaborate on budget planning and quality improvement efforts.
    • Develop policies for efficient clinic operations and personnel management.
    • Align strategies with organizational goals and diversity initiatives.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 5 years of clinic management experience or 9+ years in related roles.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in equity-focused work, managerial healthcare roles, and project management.
    • Ability to provide creative leadership, effective communication, and foster inclusive environments.
    • Knowledge of diversity, racial disparities, and healthcare systems.
